Heat Pump vs. Central AC: Which Is Right for You?

Choosing between a heat pump and a central air conditioner is one of the most common decisions Montreal homeowners face. Both systems cool your home effectively, but they differ in how they work, what they cost to run, and the value they deliver over time. What each system does. A central air conditioner does one job: cooling. It pairs with your existing furnace, which handles heating in winter. A heat pump, on the other hand, both cools and heats.
