Save on Operating Costs
By using each heat source where it performs best, a bi-energy system reduces total energy consumption and lowers monthly heating bills without sacrificing comfort.

How It Works
A bi-energy system combines a heat pump with a natural gas furnace to maximize your home's heating capability across Montreal's range of seasonal temperatures. During milder weather the heat pump operates efficiently on its own, while when temperatures drop below -12°C the system automatically switches to the furnace for greater heating power.

Why Bi-Energy
By using each heat source where it performs best, a bi-energy system reduces total energy consumption and lowers monthly heating bills without sacrificing comfort.
Take advantage of grants from Hydro Québec and Énergir, up to $7,300, to significantly reduce the cost of installing a new heat pump.
A bi-energy system reduces your carbon footprint through decreased energy use and renewable energy sources.
