A heat pump works by extracting hot air from indoors and outdoors. In heating mode, a heat pump extracts heat from the cold outside air and distributes it indoors. By contrast, in cooling mode, a heat pump extracts heat from the indoor air and distributes it outdoors. In both cases, heat is transferred and displaced to provide you with ultimate comfort.
