1. This agreement will automatically be cancelled if the equipment is moved from the location indicated on the original contract, or if the equipment has been modified without the consent of Allard & Emond Inc. (also referred to as the “service provider”).
2. All material and labour not covered by this agreement will be provided at the owner’s expense. The owner accepts to pay for these costs.
3. The service provider will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury resulting from a delay in repairs as stipulated in this agreement and, in no circumstances, will they be liable for any incident or consequential damages of any kind.
1. Diagnosis fees for repairs.
2. All repairs required to correct a failure or malfunction that is not caused by a manufacturer’s defect such as : damage or malfunction resulting from a fire, water, storm, lightning, earthquake, theft, riot, misuse, incorrect selections, act of God or improper use of equipment.
3. Routine maintenance or any repairs necessary due to lack of maintenance such as: cleaning the condenser drain, condenser, evaporator coil, blower, cleaning and replacing of air filters as well as replacing used batteries where required.
4. Repairs to modify the listed equipment in order to meet new federal, provincial or local standards.
5. Labour payments charged by the service provider for repairs performed outside normal working hours.
6. Extra charge if inside unit is installed over 2,286 meters (7 feet 6 inches) above the ground.
7. Extra charge if outside unit is installed over 1,52 meters (5 feet) above the ground.
8. Surcharge for fluids (Freon) if they cannot be recovered.
9. Hourly rate surcharge between Allard & Emond’s rate and the rate allocated by Mitsubishi for the labour warranty.
10. Labor surcharge between the time required to make the repair and the time allocated to make the repair by Mitsubishi.
11. All expenses, including labor costs incurred by the service provider, as well as travel expenses and minimum charge for all service calls that could not be performed because the service provider was unable to gain access to the equipment or its controls, or service calls that do not need any repair.
12. Coolant leaks covered are part of the system itself, which means the leaks at joints and pipes located between evaporator and condensing unit are not covered.
13. Periodic maintenance is not covered by the extended warranty.
14. All replacement filters are not included.
These conditions apply when a labour warranty is included as part of the sale of a Mitsubishi system.
1. All services or repairs not covered by this agreement.
2. Checking and replacing fuses or reactivating the circuit breakers or fuses.
2. Operating the equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions and performing routine maintenance or other special maintenance. Routine maintenance includes cleaning the condenser drain, condenser, coils, blower, cleaning and replacing the air filters.
4. Providing the service provider with free access to the equipment and its controls.
5. Moving all materials, fixtures, partitions that may interfere with the service provider’s work.
